Freight and Shipping documents that were once difficult to locate can now be found through your web browser, every time.

Logistics Information Integration

There is no such thing as “plug and play” when implementing comprehensive logistics information solutions. Systems touch so many areas of the organization, from ERP and order management systems, to transportation and customer service. Having a good product and a decent implementation team is not enough to guarantee a smooth, successful implementation and achievement of measurable results. Expert technical resources are needed to make sure that all of the various systems connect efficiently. IntraVex provides these technical resources within its system integration department. Services offered include: providing installation and systems integration services for complete web and server applications. We also provide consultation and systems administration for IntraVex provided products and tools that may operate within your distribution environment.

Logistics Information Visibility

The IntraVex Systems provide transit data on client’s packages including all scans: shipped, delivered, in-transit, and late delivered shipments. Utilizing user and notification recipient information captured from shipping system integration, EDI tracking data can be used to enhance the information available in shipping notifications. The notification data includes the complete set of package delivery activity: origin, destination, delivery, and exception scans. Proactive notification of estimated date and time of arrival, as well as missed scans alerts clients of packages that may result in a late delivery. Updates are provided by the carrier unsolicited (files come hourly); therefore eliminating the client’s exposure to carrier information based service charges. Visibility applications can be expanded to support customer’s access and search criteria by all potential freight information including:
  • Purchase or sales order number
  • Ship to company name
  • Ship to company address
  • Bill of Lading number
  • Number of pieces
  • Weight
  • Carrier name
  • ETA date, date/time of delivery
  • Exception quantity
  • Signer of shipment
  • Many more parameters
All notifications can be exported or batch notifications can be scheduled for export and import into your 3rd party applications.
